Family

I personally love this post because the foundation of humanity was builded upon this concept. Family is everything and those who value this concept understands the factor that comes from it. In order for God to create life that has a meaning, family became the concept to keep order here on earth. The fruitfulness and multiplication of humanity. It is a beautiful thing when one knows how it feels like to have a family. Every man and woman longs for this. We look forward on growing so we can have a family of our own.

In the beginning family was valued so so much because the enemy has not figured out the power that lies in two. It was relatively known that a man and woman has to get together in marriage and start a family. The blessing from God comes as it has to cause the two newly weds to become fruitful and to multiply. I grow up knowing this and family became the centre of my life. I will find myself a beautiful woman and we will start a family of our own.

A healthy family produces a healthy community and a healthy community produces a healthy nation. A beautiful plan that God constructed from the beginning. But today, your worst enemy can be of your own household. That is what Jesus said and we do see it today. A brother against a brother and a sister against a sister. What do you do if you are a woman or man who longs to have a family of his or her own. I once heard Pastor Jesse Duplantis says that he only wanted one child because of how he grew up. 

Definitely you know that in his own family it was not nice. For a man who wants only one child even though his wife wanted more. The devil has got us in a thick of things. He does not want to see any beautiful thing that God designed prospers. Some how along the road he figured out that if I can mess up this structure he will win. Well, he is winning only to those who do not value this concept. I am a sucker for love and I cannot want to be in love if I do not value this concept of family. I rather take a chance on that without fear how my family might turn out.

One thing that I know that if I want the blessing of God to flow in my life, I need to be a family man. It takes hard work and dedication to cause anything to work. What kind of a life we would be raising our kids if we do not fight to keep this concept of family as the centre of our lives. It is alright to take them to school and teach them to be independent and make their own money and die lonely? Life begins to mean something when you know you do not live it for yourself. 

The generation of today no longer cares about the next coming generation. After all the sufferings they went through, you would think that they will fight to make their children lives easier. I am not talking about staying in an abusive relationship. I am talking about abandoning this concept of family just because you went through something and you no longer believe in it. I serve a God who can turn your mess into a message. 

The tradition that is around black people mess this thing up so much. When marriage takes place, God is not joining the two family together. Actually he is establishing a third family out of the two. Regardless of how you grew up or how bad the relation was in your family, in marriage God gives you an opportunity to establish your own and do better than where you came from. I take pride in this. The family from my fathers side is a mess. The family from my mothers side is a mess too. But that does not mean mine can be that as well. I just need to take the lessons from the two and avoid the things that caused the collision. 

I can have a healthy family. If God wants to look for that one man to start this all over, I am that guy. Out of me can come out a nation. A nation that will know and understand the principles that I would have carried out. It is important to know who your going to start this concept with. Because that person plays a major role in developing this. Be careful of who you marry as well. The children of Israel had a dilemma with God just after getting out of Egypt. 

See God constructed his plan together with Abraham and that plan got messed up when they left Egypt. The bible says when they left, the mixed multitudes left with them. People who were never meant to be part of the journey became the problem. Once you start having a third voice in your family affairs apart from yourself and your wife, you definitely out to know that you will encounter problems. And guess what? The voices are not people who are far. They are close to you.

We are losing ourselves as we loose this concept of family. Divorce is a vehicle the enemy uses and young people find it easy to do as to work things out and believe that all things are possible. Children grow up and they do not want to get married because they are scared of divorce. They have children outside marriage and they raise confused kids. Everything is out of order and it seems everyone is okay with it. We use this phrase, It is life. This is not life. Life is what was created from the beginning. It was possible back then and it is today. Otherwise God was not going to be The God of Yesterday, Today and Forever. 

Family is everything.
